Last month, Gerry paid a visit to FreestyleXtreme, the largest retailer in Europe of his sponsor DC Shoes. Gerry visited the Bristolian head-quarters to meet the FreestyleXtreme team, and boost the staff moreale with some awe-inspiring magic.
He then proceeded to set a lap on the FreestyleXtreme DiRT 3 simulator, where he set one of the fastest laps of the year. Having been taught by one of the veterans, Gerry quickly shot up the leaderboard.
The Freestylextreme team appeared to really enjoy Gerry’s visit, he even got involved and packed one or two parcels to be sent out! A video of the visit can be found below:
Following the Goodwood Media day and the Masters of Dirt FMX event, Gerry continued to Meribel for the DC Shred Days where he performed at parties for DC Shoes Europe including snowboard legends Devan Welsh, Iikka Backstrom, Lauri Heiskari, Aaron Bittener and Torstein Horgmo.
Straight after the Goodwood media day, Gerry travelled to Wembley Arena for the Masters of Dirt FMX event to perform backstage to the riders, the fuel girls and the Monster promotional girls in the VIP area.
Gerry was asked to return to Goodwood for a media day, a smaller event than the festival of speed for the media and sponsors to come and drive around the track. Gerry performed alongside world champion flatland BMX rider Viki Gomez in the evening ball in Goodwood house and then performing all around the event in the daytime with the likes of Dougie Lampkin, Matrin Ashton & Viki Gomez. (And also the pleasure of performing to 6 of the London Playboy bunnies).
Gerry attended the opening of the DC's store in Galway, Ireland as an ambassador for DC Shoes.
November brought the return of the London Freeze to Battersea Power station in London. Gerry attended and performed magic in the VIP hospitality suite.
Gerry performed magic in the action sports arena and also at the Goodwood dinner to the 'whos who' of motorsport where legends like John McGuinnes, Robbie Maddison, Ken Block, Nigel Mansel to name just a few.
Gerry performed at a chartiy gig at the Comedy store in Leicester Square, London for Help for Heroes with some of the top UK comedians.
Gerry went to the Metro Ski show in Olympia in London which is where we filmed some of the 2011 promo video.
Gerry visited the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards at Wellington Barracks for an officers event.
Gerry was asked to attend the launch party of Skate 3 for EA Sports.
Gerry performed magic to John Barrowman who then put him forward for consultancy work with the BBC, for Merlin a prime time TV show shown in 2010.
Gerry has recently completed a tour of America stopping at Hollywood, Venice Beach, Mexico & Orlando; performing in the Las Vegas Convenstion Centre & Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, The Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, Toledo Club in Ohio, The Laughter Factory Time Square New York The Mansion Nighclub & Iry Room, Nikki Beach Hotel and the Ultra Music Festival in Miami for the winter music conference week.
On his return Gerry has signed a contract with the BBC to be the magic consultant for a prime time Saturday night BBC 1 show.
Gerry is featured in a full page feature section in '247 Magazine' - a popular lifestyle and whats-on magazine published throughout the South West of england.
Gerry travelled to Wales to perform magic for Santa Cruz and met one of the founders of Santa Cruz skateboards.

Gerry drives to establish himself as a progressive, fresh magician and gives a professional but younger look on magic that is appealing to the younger crowds and still intended to draw the older audiences in by developing a fresh look to old tricks as well as developing his own new exciting and fast moving routines.
